Biomechanical Faults linked with Patellofemoral Pain in runners

To manage Patellofemoral pain in runners its important to understand the correlation between running biomechanics and its effect on the patellofemoral joint. Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS), most commonly known as ‘Runner’s knee‘ or anterior knee pain syndrome, is defined as “pain occurring around or behind the patella that is aggravated by at least one activity that loads the patella during weight-bearing on a flexed knee.”

Running Injury Course: Biomechanical Analysis of Runners

A webinar hosted by team GaitON for clinicians who want to start with running analysis at their clinics. The session covers 3 important questions: 1. How can running assessments add value to the treatment process? 2. How to perform a running assessment at the clinic? 3. Important biomechanical faults that can be identified during a running analysis along with their causes, associated clinical conditions & corrections.
